They said during the last scene of the fight Captain America and Iron Man were very close to Thanos and Iron man having remodeled his suit for holding the infinity stone was the other reason. You see, that removing the infinity gauntlet from Thanos is very difficult so the only way to get the stones is by deceiving/distracting him. And if would see properly then you can observe that Iron man did not required much strength to do it. He just deceived him. So from all the above reasons Iron man was the one who did the snap.
