Explain why does a sharp knife cuy better than blunt knife

A sharp knife cuts objects better because due to its very thin edge, the force producing a large pressure.

A blunt knife has a thicker edge and does not cut the object easily

Basically if area is more, pressure is lesser and vice versa

Pressure is inversely proportional to area. Sharp knife has a small area of contact than the blunt knife. Thus, a force will exert more pressure while using a sharp knife than while using a blunt knife.
