Explain why does resistance of a conductor increase with raise in temperature.​

Resistance of conductor increases with increase in temperature because at high temperature, the kinetic energy of molecules increases and hence the number of collisions increases between them. Hence, the resistance of the material increases.

Resistance is caused when free electrons in a conductor collide the with the fixed atoms. When temperature of a conductor is increased its atoms begin to vibrate more rapidly and hence its collision with free electron occurs more hence we can say that with increase in temperature Resistance increases.
