Explain why dry hcl acid not conduct electricity but its aqueous solution conducts electricity

Because in dry state it enable to ionise itself

Acids when dissolved in water produce H+ ions. But in dry HCl acid it does not dissociate into H+ ions.So dry HCl acid do not conduct electricity.
