the electrons are placed far apart from each other and their revolve around the atom.

Explanation:

  • The volume of electron is very less. However since the revolve around the nucleus of the atom they are spaced apart from each other.
  • This is due to the electro magnetic force of repulsion that occurs when to two same charged particles are close to each other. the rotation of the electron around the nucleus is due to the force of attraction by the positively charged nucleus of the atom.
