In case of a group, reactivity increases on going down since the tendency to lose electrons increases but for nonmetals , reactivity decreases on going down the group as the tendency to gain electrons decreases down the group.

Given :-

\sf 2t - t = 21 + 3(2t + 1)

Solution :-

 \sf 2t - t = 21 + 6t + 32t

\sf 2t - t - 6t = 21 + 32t

 \sf - 5t = 24

\sf t = \dfrac{-24}{5}

Procedure :-

→ This Question is from the linear equation.

→ Then we can see the there is a bracket after 21+3(2t+1) we will multiply 3 with (2t+1) and then we will get 6t+3 then we will group like terms i.e. 2t - t -6t = 21 + 3. The 6t will become -6t because whenever we transpose any constant it's sign changes.

→ The we will subract 2t - t - 6t and add 21 + 3. You can see that after 2t it's written only t then will consider it as 1, because whenever only a variable is given we consider it as 1.

→ The we have to find the value of t we will take -5 to the R.H.S side then we will make it a fraction, then the final will be -24/5.
