have you studied that in your 6 or 7 class that solid molecule are packed with each other very tightly and liquid have some gap between each molecule and gases are very freely molecule that can easily settle anywhere and can change its shape easily ..,

The atoms of gases are loosly packed with less force of attraction than solids and liquids so they expand more than them.
