Explain why HF is dibasic .

HF has s strong tendency to form hydrogen binding and as a result it exists as H2F2 or H2F(+) + F (-).

Now this H2F (+) can act as acid and since it has 2 proton so it can release 2H (+) and acts as a dibasic acid.
