Explain why holes are made in hanging banners and hoardings ?

Answer:

Air exerts pressure in all directions. Due to this pressure, the banners and hoardings may tear or fall down. Holes will let the wind pa.ss and they do not become loose and fall down. Hence, holes are made in hanging banners and hoardings.
