Explain why: (i) Ethylamine is soluble in water but aniline is not. (ii) Aniline does not undergo Friedel Crafts reaction. (iii) Aniline is acetylated before bromination.

1. it makes intermolecular bonds with hydrogen in water 
2. It is a very strong base and forms salt on reacting with AlCl3. Due to which a net negative charge develops on nitrogen which deactivates further electrophilic substitution in benzene ring
3. In order to avoid its tribromoaline formation, it is acetylated first
