Explain Why?
i) The Induced current is higher when the conductor cuts the magnetic field at 90 degree that when it cuts the field at another angle?
ii) No induced Current is produced in a conductor moving parallel to a magnetic field?
b) How does the distance between a magnet and a moving conductor affect the current induced in the conductor.

Answer:

As we have seen, any change in magnetic flux induces an emf opposing that change—a process known as induction. Motion is one of the major causes of induction. For example, a magnet moved toward a coil induces an emf, and a coil moved toward a magnet produces a similar emf.
