Neutralisation reaction is an exothermic reaction,wherin along with the products heat energy is released.
This is why the test tube feels warm after or during the reaction.

when we touch test tube as soon as a nutrilisation reaction takes place we fell that the test tube is slightly hot because:
when an acid and a base react together to form salt and water the reaction produces heat as the reaction which occurs during nutrilisation reaction is exothermic
exothermic reaction is the reaction in which , when two elements combine to form a product a little amount of heat is emitted
