Iron is not used for making expensive ornaments because -

• The material value of iron is very less because iron is an easily available metal.

That's why we can't get an expensive material value with small amount of iron which is not preferable for ornament making.

• The iron is not visually appealing or shiny.

• Iron easily catches rust which is not good for long term usages.
