Irreversible changes are usually chemical changes because in physical change only the physical properties are changed such as shape ,size etc and the nature of the molecule is not changed that's why most of the time physical changes are reversible. But in chemical changes the nature of the molecules undergo changed that's why most of the time chemical changes are reversible ,hope this answer helps you!!!:-)
