⏩When a bullet is fired on a glass pane at high speed, then a neat hole is formed because of the large Speed the bullet exerts force only on the part of the pane which is in contact with the bullet while the rest of the pane remains at rest due to inertia of rest.

The neat hole is formed in the glass pane, when bullet is fires on a high speed because speed is very high then the momentum is also very high then time span with contact with glass panels is very less then it crossed the glass pane and make a hole.
