hey mate!!!! Here's your answer-
if you walk on sand.. you apply pressure on it so that you can walk but that sand use some of your pressure to consolidate itself.. This is because sand yields under the weight of the person walking on it. ... The sand does not yield.

It is very difficult for us to walk on sand because of our weight that our legs tends to move downwards that means inside the sand . Another reason is that the friction on sand us very low. Hence we are unable to move on sand
