Explain why is the difficult for a fire man to hold a hose, which ejects large amount of water at a high velocity

coz when large amount of water is ejected at a high velocity larger force is there acting to eject that water as we studied about newton 3rd law so according to it there is a reaction force acting on the person holding it that is the reason it is difficult...................................
