We know that

momentum, p = mv

As from question, balls have same speed.

Since cricket ball has more mass than the tennis ball.

So, cricket ball has more momentum than the tennis ball.

Thats why it is easier to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball moving with the same speed.

This happens because even though the blass are moving with same speeds the mass of the cricket ball is more than that of the tennis ball which directly affects the momentum of the two balls
