Aldehydes are more reactive than ketones of 2 reasons as stated below
-ketones have 2 large substituent grps which hindes nu- to attack on them meanwhile aldehydes have only 1 which enhances their reactivity power=steric reason
-ketones 2 alkyl grp +nt which reduce its electrophilicity=electric reason
