Explain why: LiCl has a low melting point than NaCl.

because the force of attraction between the LiCl molecule is smaller than Nacl that's why it has low melting point than Nacl

gaurimukhopadhyay: But LiCl has a smaller atomic size, so won't the force of attraction be more?
