Explain why liquid O2 sticks to magnetic pole?

actually it is not magnetic but paramagnetic that is that it is attracted by the magnetic field but does not remain magnetic once it leaves the field the reason that it is paramagnetic is because the oxygen molecule has two unpaired electrons
liquid oxygen sticks to a magnet while liquid nitrogen does not because of difference in electron distribution
