Explain why marine life fish prefers to stay at lower level and stay away from the upper layer of water.​

Cold water is heavier than the hot water and thus it settles at the bottom layer of the water bodies. So the aquatic animals prefer to stay at a lower level during the summers to avoid the scorching heat.
