Since oxidation is loose of electrons..
HCl is getting oxidised here..
Because the oxidation state of Cl in HCl is -1 whereas in Cl2 it is 0..
Hence HCl is oxidised by loosing an electron .
On the other hand reduction is the gain of electron..
Hence MnO2 is getting reduced here because The oxidation state of Mn has changed from +4 to +2
So in the reaction, both oxidation and reduction is taking place thus is a redox reaction.
