Explanation:

Due to the greater size of K as compared to Na, the electrostatic attraction due to the nucleus is reduced in K. So the energy required to remove an electron from the outermost shell of K is less than that of Na.

Simple because Na have less number of shells than K so the attraction from nucleus to Na is more than the K . As k have 3 shells and Na has two shells so you can predict .
