b'coz plastic containers are easily available,cheap,leakproof and are light weight but I think plastic containers should be avoided as much as possible b'coz they Have some composition of harmful chemicals which may mix with your food items and make them unhealthy for consumption. (ii) the plastics are lightweight and are strong.

(iii) they are easy to handle and safe.
