Since, acid can reacts with metal containers to produce harmful poisnous substances.

Thus, plastic which is non reactive with acids are used.

Plastic containers are favored for storing foods because it does nor react with any kind of substances very easily .... that's is why plastic is most harmful for our nature because it does react with soil and do not decompose soon .... it takes millions of years to do so ....
