Explain why sea animals prefer to stay at bottom of sea in summer

Due to sun rays the water at the top gets heated up, and as sunlight can't go much deep in water hence the water at lower level has low temp as compared to the upper one .

So in order to beat the heat aquatic animals are prefer to stay at lower level that is bottom of the sea ☺️
