Keep your seeds dry and they won't germinate. ... There are seeds that need frost, some even need fire. All the specific conditions a seed needs to germinate won't be present in your seed packet but by far the most important is humidity. So if you don't want those precious seeds to germinate inside the packet: keep it dry.
