The sheet of paper and a coin are 2 different things. The thing that matter for the following case are:
1) The coin is more heavy than the sheet of paper.
2)The sheet of paper have a wider area than the coin which makes the coin to fall faster than the sheet of paper.

The paper has more surface area than the coin. Thus when it falls

down it will be subjected to air resistance. Thus it reaches the ground

slower than the coin.
