Explain why shoulder bags are provided with broad straps and not thin strap?

because when the area of the strap is increased, the pressure decreases and it is easier for us to hold the bags.If our bags have thin straps then it will exert more pressure on our arms which can hurt us.(pressure is inversely proportional to area)

Shoulder bags are provided with broad straps and not thin straps because broad straps increases the area and thus when the area is increased, pressure decreases. So we feel not very pressurized on our shoulder and the thin straps decreases the area and thus when area is decreases, pressure is increased, So we feel pressurized on our shoulders with the bags which have thin straps.
