Hey
↔Gases and liquids dont have fixed shape because their inter moleculer space is more. The molecules in a solid are in fixed positions and are close together. Although the molecules can still vibrate, they cannot move from one part of the solid to another part. As a result, a solid does not easily change its shape and thus it has fixed shape.

the particles of solid have more force of attraction than liquids and gases. The particles are attached to each other so they have definite volume and mass. The particles of liquid have low force of attraction than solids so they have definite mass but not the volume. The particle of gas don't have force of attraction so they move randomly. They do not have definite shape.
