As in warm air the temperature is high due to which the particles in air have some initial kinetic energy.

So sound wave travels faster in warmer air than in cool air

✌️ Sound waves transfer faster in in warm air than in the cold air because in warm air the particles or substances are distributed over all the places and we all know very well that the temperated or heated particles have more mobility due to this mobility and more K.E. the sound waves transfer more easily in warmer air than to that of the cold air .
