Explain,Why speed is important for survival in grasslands for animals?

Answer:

In a grass land habitat their are no trees and places for animals to hide. When enemies or predators attack them they have to run fast to reach to the safer place otherwise they will be killed. So in odder to escape from the predators speed is important for survival of animals living in grassland habitat

As we know that the grassland got its name because of the grass present in that particular place. This there are no trees for the animals to hide. The only thing which helps them to save their life is their speed. It helps them to save their life from the predators. Hence the life of the animals, who are not known for their speed have some another way. For example some animals comoflage themselves in their surroundings.
