Hi friend!!
We know that soap is a basic in nature and most of curry contains turmeric powder which is an indicator. When this stain of curry containing turmeric powder is washed using soap ,it turns into reddish brown colour as turmeric powder (yellow colour) turns into reddish brown colour when it reacts with base.On the other hand ,when water alone ,which is slightly acidic is used to wash off stain ,the curry stain washes off leaving yellow colour of turmeric because turmeric doesnt show any any change in colour when it reacts with acid.
Hope it helps

Hi friends
Soaps are basic in nature,we can identify that most of the curry contains an indicator turmeric. So, when the stain of curry is washed using the soap it turns reddish brown colour as turmeric powder turns reddish brown colour when it reacts with the base.
Also, when we use water alone ,water is somewhat acidic is used to wash the stain.
The curry then washes off leaving yellow colour because turmeric doesn't show up any change in colour when it reacts with acids.
HOPE IT HELPS YOU PEOPLE
THANKS FOR ALL
