hello!
here u go with u r answer.....

Aluminium is a highly reactivemetal and hence it easily reacts with the oxygen in air. ... Due to thesereasons, aluminium is used to make cooking utensils. Class 10 Chemistry.Carbonate and sulphide ores areusually converted into oxides during the process of extraction.

hope it helps.....!!!!

the metals of sulphide ores are extrcted by the process of roasting in which the sulphide ores are strongly heated in excess amount of air. where as carbonate ores are extracted with the help of calcination process in which the carbonate ore is strongly heated in less amount of air. after extracting these metals are present in combine form so to get seperate metal we use reducing agent carbon to reduce it. thus to get metal in pure form sulphide and carbonate ores are changes into oxide ore. after converting it into oxide ore we use reducing agent carbon to seperate metal from their oxides.
