Explain why sum of two odd numbers is always composite number

let the two numbers be a , b then according to euclid lemma
a= 2q+1..i and b=2m+1
adding i and ii we get
a+b=2q+2m+2
a+b=2(q+m+1)
(i have used m instead of q to make it clear that both are different quotient)
