If you ignite an agarbatti inside your room the aroma will spread throughout the room because the solid particles sublimes to gaseous ones on heating. Gas particles have less force of attraction between them and high kinetic energy. The gas particles are free to move wherever they will get space so they will spread throughout the room and so the aroma will be observed throughout the room.
