Peasants were obliged to render services to the nobleman -to work in his house and fields -to serve in the army or to participate in building roads. the nobleman squeeze them to the last drop of blood , and even after that , humilate them to no end. therefore artist portrayed the nobleman as spider and peasants as fly.
