Actually, displacement is the shortest distance between the starting and ending point

Now, aaume that u started running in a circular fueld and came back where u started, the distance u travelled will be the circumference of the circle but the displacement will be zero as the length between the starting and ending point is zero

Note:-1. Displacement can be negative but distance cannot

2. Displacement and distance are same in a straight line and irreversible path i.e. u cannot return back once u cover a distance
