The bulb will not glow in the arrangement shown..because the back of the screwdriver (tester) is made up of plastic which will not let electricity pass through it....

Hi , there !!!

the bulb would not glow in the arrangement shown in this figure because

the circuit is incomplete because the positive end of cell is connected with wire .

but then negative end of cell is connected through bulb and also connected through wire but the circuit has incomplete because it is connected through A Screw which is a type of insulator and it does not allowed electricity to flow through them

as. we know that insulator resist the flow of current so it does not allow current to flow through it
