Explain why the cloth don't get cut through a pair of scissors with blunt blades

As we know that pressure is inversly proportional to the area, i.e, if area will increase then pressure will decrease and vice versa
since the blunt blades have larger area and hence the force applied will be less and therefore pressure will decrease resulting the cloth as it is

Blunt blades have larger area compared to the sharp-edged blades. Thus, the applied force produces a lower pressure in case of blunt blades, which makes it difficult to cut the cloth.
