because there is no refraction or reflection in space unlike earth , hence it appears dark to an astronaut !

From the pic it is clear that the colour of the sky is due to the scattering of the light whose wavelength is comparable..
But if we notice in the space there’s no atmosphere, no light...there’s no scattering of any light..
Hence sky appears black to the astronaut
