Explain Why the Plains of North ( Punjab & Haryana side ) are Good for crops as compared to the others ? Also here soil is very much Fertile ? Also there the fields of Wheat & Rice are present in very much amount as compared to other states ?​

And i) One of the main reason behind the crops growth in Punjab and Haryana is due to the fertility of soil and due to the state's development in agriculture. It has a large area of fertile soil .

Ans ii) Soil is very much fertile because the plains are located between the five rivers namely Satluj ,Beas ,Jhelum ,Ravi and Chenab.

Ans iii) It is due to the favourable climate , weather conditions , and fertility that the fields of wheat and rice are present in large amount in Punjab and Haryana as compared to other states.
