Explanation:

The planets do not twinkle because they are near us so the light enters continuously in our eye and the light bend much because of the atmosphere but not so much that it makes it twinkle but the stars twinkle because they are very far from us and the light which is entering in our eye needs to go from many atmospheric layers so it not enters in our eye continuously so they twinkle...
