Sauce pan handles are made out of thermosetting plastic in order to ensure safety of the user. This kind of plastics do not melt even at high temperature and thus prevents injuries. This is the reason why thermosetting plastics are used in saucepan handles.

Answer:the handles of saucepans are made of plastic so as to prevent the user from getting  injured

Explanation: plastic is an insulator or most commonly a bad conductor of heat. While cooking using a saucepan, our hands might get burnt so to prevent that, handles of saucepans are made of plastic
