Explanation:

The sky is blue due to Raleigh scattering this refers to the scattering of electromagnetic radiation formed by particles of a much smaller wavelength which reflect in the color blue which is the color with the smallest wavelength which is why in outer space it seems black because there is no reflection to the light to produce Raleigh scattering. but at sunrise, sunset the light of the sun has travelled far more through the atmosphere because of the suns very low position which the reflection of the electromagnetic radiation has a much longer wavelengh which reflects in colors as red,yellow.orange.
