explain why the sliding friction is little less than static friction

In sliding friction the attraction between the object and the ground is less because it keeps on sliding so the friction is less whereas in static friction the object is set in a particular place so the attraction is high and the friction is high too.

●see,basically static friction is the type of friction whuch occurs when two objects touch or come in direct contact ,at rest.
and,
●Sliding friction is the friction which occurs , when the objects are touching, but in motion. 
● In sliding friction, the time given for interlocking between the two surfaces is very small.
●Hence,interlocking is not very strong. ●Therefore, less force is required to overcome this interlocking between those objects.
● so ,this is the reason why sliding friction is less than static friction.
