Explain why the uncertainty principle is significant only for the motion of sub-atomic particles and is negligible for macroscopic objects.

The energy of photons is sufficient to disturb a subatomic particle so that there is uncertainty in the measurement of position and momentum of subatomic particle. However, the energy is insufficient to disturb a macroscopic object.
