Ground water has decreased a lot in UAE due to several reasons :-

$\star$ UAE has a hot climate and thus sources of Surface water are quite less there. So people generally use groundwater there.

$\star$ Ground water is getting lesser as irrigation is done in bulk over there. People just waste water and thus ground water fell sharply.
