a)         Food wastage may be qualitative or quantitative. Quantitative food wastage is caused by excessive use of preservatives over cooking food Washing vegetables for food protection, maltreatment, etc.

         Qualitative food wastage can be prevented by taking steps such as controlling the use of preservatives, taking care during cooking to prevent overcooking or undercooking, using proper storage methods, etc.

b)        If cooked rice is underdone, some food in which it can be reused may be used. For example, under flavored rice can be used to prepare kheer, in which more wih milk can be cooked, or it can also be cooked to make papads or something else to avoid wasting it.

c)         If the wheat brought was little moist, this moisture could be removed under the sun. It is important to remove this moisture before grinding wheat or strong I, as it can be a factor in the growth of microorganisms that cause it to spoil.

d)        The taste of yogurt may turn a little bit sour because it has undergone too much fermentation. The first thing would be to store this yogurt in a cold environment in order to stop the yogurt from souring. You can use this yogurt to make sweet lassi or some other dishes.

e)          Cut fruits turn black because they are oxidized. Small amounts of lemon juice should be applied to the fruit surface, as it prevents the fruit from oxidizing.
